Mayrhofen is located in the heart of the Zillertal Alps, in the center of a hiking paradise. Our apartments are in a great location and you can start hiking directly from our house.

There are countless paths, some of which lead directly from the village to the highest peaks. You decide how far and how high you want to go. From a stroll through the village to multi-hour hut hikes. If you don't want to start from the bottom, you can take one of the cable cars up the mountain and start your hike from the top. All cable cars are also open in summer.

Behind Mayrhofen, the Zillertal divides into several smaller valleys - Zillergund, Zemmgrund, Stillup, and Tux. In all of these valleys, endless hiking trails, many huts, alpine pastures, and not to forget breathtaking landscapes and panoramic views await you. The dams in Zillergrund, Stilluptal, and Schlegeis are legendary places and worth a visit from spring to autumn. You can walk along the banks on foot or take a round trip to the surrounding huts. Or you can find a secluded spot on the water's edge to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle.

From the Schlegeis dam, it is possible to reach the Pfitscherjoch hut, which is already on the South Tyrolean side, in about 1.5 hours. After having undertaken countless hikes ourselves, we are always there for you and happy to give you advice on the best and most suitable hikes for your individual experience level.
