Fun for the family
A great fun for young and old. There are almost 50 kilometers of toboggan runs in the Zillertal, most of which are also illuminated at night. You can tackle the ascent on foot, by taxi or by cable car. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the mountain huts, the delicious food and the warm drinks. Then, the rapid descent on the wooden sled begins.
In Mayrhofen itself, there is the Wiesenhof toboggan run. Other recommended toboggan runs would be Tristenbachalm in Ginzling, Gerlostein or Grieralm, Höllensteinhütte and Bichlalm in Tux. The starting points can all be reached within a few minutes by car or taxi.
